Hey everyone!
Throughout the month of November, we have done a poll on Twitter, asked people on the discord and did a poll on here with all three in favor of changing the minimum subscribers to have a page on here to 1,000 subscribers. Starting January 1st, 2021, this change will be in effect. If a page has less than 1,000 subscribers, but was added before January 1st, 2021, that page will remain on the site as a grandfathered page. If a grandfathered page is deleted due to it not meeting wiki rules, and someone wants to re add it, it must be added to Minitubia.
There is one month left to add pages that will end up being grandfathered in, so if you know a YouTube channel that has between 500 and 999 subscribers, add them ASAP. Please make sure to follow wiki rules when adding such pages (page needs to have a minimum of 1,200 bytes to be considered a page).
To the people mad about this change, we need to learn to adapt to new things. this site isn't a way to promote yourself. This site has always been Wikipedia but for YouTube channels and YouTube related things and unfortunately, just like Wikipedia, not everyone can have a page about them. I would hope in time you will understand.
