Hello, Wikitubians.

This is not an announcement I have been wanting to make so soon, although I feel that I needed to do it sooner.

This October will have been 4 years since I joined Wikitubia, and I have been dedicated to it ever since. When I joined I was fairly young and was pretty bad at editing and communicating. But pretty soon, I improved and I became a rollbacker a few months later, and a couple of years later I became in charge of this place - something I never imagined ever accomplishing.

Being here all these years has given me a sense of accomplishment in many ways, which was aided by such a great community.

But recently, I have realized that staying here is bringing me much stress and obligations that are draining. I have also realized there are more important things in life than this. This has always been intended to be a hobby for me, not a job.

For these reasons, I have made the decision to retire as a staff member on Wikitubia on January 1, with a lot of consideration. We will begin the process of finding a replacement for me as soon as this is posted.

It has been an honor serving here as a bureaucrat on Wikitubia, seeing so many users look up to me is truly humbling, but it's time for me to end this chapter. It's time for me to move on.

Thank you for trusting me to lead this community. I am confident whoever comes after me will do great.
