タカラトミー TAKARATOMY, better known as Takara Tomy or Tomy, is a Japanese company that makes toys for children. It was founded on March 1, 2006, when Tomy and rival Takara had merged with each other.
History[]
Before merging, it was named Tomy as an abridgment of Tomiyama. It was named after the founder's surname. The company had many competitive rivals, most notably Takara and Bandai, which the latter had caught the attention of Tomy's son, who wanted to work for Bandai as he grew older. This had caused Tomiyama to create more toys for the son's approval. In 2001, Takara's toy brand Beyblade had powered over Tomy. However, Beyblade has faltered, and affected the fortunes of Takara. The merge then began five years later.

TAKARATOMY ASIA[]
The channel was created on January 10, 2019, and the first video was uploaded on March 27, 2019. Much similar to the previous channel, they uploaded videos of people using the brand's toys. Unlike the previous channel, a lot of the videos are in English, while タカラトミー TAKARATOMY's videos are in Japanese.
