Taishi Arimura (Japanese: 有村泰志) (born: 1993 [age 32–33])[1], better known online as Arimura Taishi, is a Japanese graphic designer and artist who is known for making cute short animations and clever artworks.

Career before YouTube[]

He was born in 1993, in Amagasaki City, Hyogo Prefecture.
After graduating Amagasaki Oda High School, he entered Seian University of Art and Design.[2] While he was in the university, he started to work on designing advertisement, and he won the student grand prix in the 24th Kyoto Advertisement Award.[3]

On November 17 2018, he invented a bookmark that has advertisement sentences which chimes in sentences in the book.[4] It got attention from a crowdfunding company called CAMPFIRE Creation. It easily passed the goal, and it has ofically become a product.[5]

He also started posting his artworks and animations on Instagram and TikTok, in 2018 and 2019 respectively.

He entered the company Chocolate Inc. as a designer and planner on April 1, 2019.[6]

YouTube[]

He started his YouTube channel on March 10 2020. He posts 2 types of short animations.

BLUE HAMHAM (Japanese: ブルーハムハム)[]

In this series, 4 blue hamster-like creatures play an instrument. In the end, one of them often messes up.
Those videos blew up all over the world. They gathered attentions from popular musicians, and they even officially collaborated with some of them.
They are from the planet called "Proxima b", but they got lost during the Earth trip. A kind human picked them up, and they've been kept as pets. They absorb energy from music, just as plants photosynthesize. So they play music just as we cook.[7]

Bite-Sized Animation[]

Basically, all the other animations belong to this. They're called Bite-Sized Animation (Japanese: ひとくちアニメ), due to how short they are.
