101Leafy is a Japanese-speaking American gaming YouTuber known for his videos on Splatoon, Splatoon 2, Super Smash Bros, the Yo-kai Watch franchise and many other games. He is currently active on YouTube.

101Leafy currently resides in the United States. He is a Nintendo Brand Ambassador.

Content[]

Before 101Leafy took an hiatus on uploading YouTube videos, he played and uploaded many games such as the Splatoon franchise, Super Smash Bros, the Yo-kai Watch franchise, including spin-offs such as Yo-kai Watch: Wibble Wobble, Yo-kai Watch Sangokushi, and Yo-kai Watch: Puni Puni.

In 2019, just before his hiatus on uploading videos, he had only been uploading memes and shorts.

In 2022, Leafy returned to YouTube, now live streaming his gameplays, using a custom Unity Splatoon VTuber avatar.

Controversy[]

Grooming allegations[]

On the 4th of November 2024, A user named Eyepokai made a post about how they were contacted by someone stating that they were allegedly groomed by 101Leafy[1]. The victim stated that they were threatened by Leafy and forced to send a picture of their face.

Eyepokai later made an apology post, revealing that the allegations were confirmed false by the alleged victim while also apologizing to 101Leafy for spreading said allegations in the process.[2]
