John[1], also known by his online YouTube alias as 10HoursMovies, is a Polish english-speaking YouTuber who is most known for uploading a wide variety of videos of shorter clips and memes being repeatedly played for a length of 10 hours straight, hence the name of the channel. He joined YouTube on March 19, 2013, and is currently residing in the United States. He uploads new 10-hour long videos on a weekly basis. It is currently one of the most visited YouTube channels with 10-hour videos.

History[]

The idea of looping a joke, clip, or meme for a long period time is not a strange video category on YouTube by any means. Plenty of such videos exist, including ones with surprises, some fun and others unfortunate, like the infamous "Portal Radio 10 Hours".

The first upload on the channel was called "I'm a f*cking alcoholic 10 hours" on March 20, 2013, based off a Polish video by Petka Petkas. A series of various 10 hour looped versions featuring other Polish videos remained a popular mainstay, but eventually more familiar memes followed, matching closely with yearly meme trends, like the Roblox "Oof" sound, the "Yeahhh boyyyy" kid, and "Crab Rave", which ended up being the 2nd most popular video on the channel.

Obviously, with such a wealth of Polish related memes and videos, no doubt some other fellow Eastern European countries followed suit with their respective series of memes, especially memes about Russia with topics like CSGO and a video on Hardbass that also ended up as a very popular video on the channel.

The channel continues it's journey of creating 10 hour repeats and extensions of popular videos and memes to this day.
