Jeffrey Alexander (born: November 29, 1997 (1997-11-29) [age 27]), better known professionally as 22Gz, is an American rapper known for his music and for being credited as a pioneer of Brooklyn drill music.

Career[]

After releasing the singles "Blixky" and "Suburban" in 2016, Alexander gained a following from his YouTube videos. "Suburban" was regarded as one of the first major Brooklyn drill songs to become popular. Alexander gained attention, leading him to signing with Atlantic Records in 2018 and his label A&R helping him getting noticed by Kodak Black, in which they both collaborated with each other on the song "Spin the Block", one of his first songs released on the label.

Alexander released his first mixtape with Atlantic, The Blixky Tape, in 2019. His follow-up mixtape, Growth & Development, was released in 2020.

Alexander created his channel on December 24, 2017, and he uploaded his first video on September 6, 2018. He uploads music videos and audio onto his channel.
