Max Burnett[1] (born September 21, 2005 [age 20]), better known online as 3FS (short for Frick Frack Fruit Snack, or simply known as Max). is an American YouTuber and musician who uploads gameplay comedy videos and vlogs. 3FS began to gain popularity through his Crawlspace and Five Nights at Freddy's fan game series. He reached 1 million subscribers on July 22nd, 2025.[2]
Personal life[]
Max was born in the United States on September 21, 2005.
Max started posting on YouTube when he was around 15 years old, not gaining any real traction until his first viral video, "I escaped Scary dolls in VR... ( Crawlspace )".
Max’s popularity surged after he began posting clips of his YouTube videos to TikTok, which was suggested by his friend Aiden. These clips typical featured him being jumpscared in horror games, which remain his primary focus for videos. This cross-platform growth eventually brought him to a 100,000-subscriber milestone.
Max is also a musician who has been composing since 2016. He has produced tracks for his own projects as well as for games such as JR's, Finding Frankie, and others. While he often features his work in his videos, he also creates music for comedic effect, such as "Gaming Mode" and "MANGLE BANGING ON VENT REMIX." Max has noted that balancing music production with content creation is a struggle, leading him to prioritize content creation over his music.
Max has two dogs, Harley and Juno, who occasionally make appearances in his content.
Max and Ruby were previously in a relationship. While neither party has issued an official statement regarding a breakup, Ruby's departure from several 3FS social communities has led to community speculation that the relationship has ended.
Jokes[]
- 3FS will often go into a state called “gaming mode” whenever he is accomplishing something important or struggling in a game. This transition, also known as a “lock-in” or “gaming switch,” is usually a dramatic sequence in which he slicks back his hair with his headphones and intensely focuses on the screen. This ritual is often accompanied by playing his song of the same name.
- Previously the "gaming mode" theme was "ultraphunk" by Dashie.
- 3FS has a figurine of LeBron James that he occasionally impersonates to motivate or insult himself. The name “LeBron James” is often intentionally mispronounced (e.g., Lebreen Jaming, Libron Joms, etc.), and the figurine is commonly seen being hit by an object for comedic effect.
- 3FS’s forehead is often joked about for being large while he is in “gaming mode.”
- 3FS fans frequently ask him to “oil up.”
- Multiple 3FS “clones” can be seen in his comment section.
- Usually when 3FS ridicules a character for a negative quality or skill, or compliments them, a YouTube channel with that character’s name will comment under the video as their “response.”
- 3FS uses the "chinese middle finger" or uses his ring finger as replacement for the middle finger.
