Ryan (born: June 24, 1994 (1994-06-24) [age 30]), better known online as 8-BitRyan, is an English YouTuber who's well known for his videos of Five Nights at Freddy's, Geometry Dash, Dark Deception, Friday Night Funkin, and other horror games.

Second Channel[]

8-BitRyan has a second channel called 8-BitGaming that he owns with his friend Bazamalam. The channel has mostly gaming videos, just like Ryan's first channel, and also has vlogging videos.

Personal Life[]

Ryan stated in a video on Dawko's channel[1], that Crofteria, another Gaming YouTuber is his current Girlfriend.

St. Jude[]

On Ryan's second channel, he has an entire marathon for St. Jude's children research hospital where he dressed as FNAF characters and went skydiving alongside Bazamalam, Dawko, and Razzbowski. He left his fans to donate the money, and he raised over $2,000.

Neo-BitRyan[]

Neo-BitRyan is Ryan's alter ego with glowing white eyes. He is believed to be his brother (Editing Ryan) who has come back for revenge after Ryan killed him in the 200,000 subscriber special video with the hand gun. Neo-BitRyan has appeared in multiple videos from the 'We Happy Few' series as well as some of the 'Five Nights at Freddy's - Ultimate Custom Night' and 'Five Nights at Freddy's VR - Help Wanted' and multiple videos after that.

  • He stated in the video titled "HOW IT ALL ENDS. || The Walking Dead: The Final Season (Season 4 Ep.4 ENDING)" that he taps his top lip when he's nervous about something.
  • He stated in the video titled "THE DEEP OCEAN IS A SCARY PLACE.. || Debris (BETA)" that he has Claustrophobia.
  • He reached 3 million subscribers on his birthday (June 24, 2021).
  • He considers the Music Man animatronic from the Five Nights at Freddy's game, Ultimate Custom Night to be the scariest antagonist in the franchise. He was absolutely horrified when learning that he will have to fight a giant version of this animatronic in Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach after watching the final trailer.
  • He seems to like the rain when a videogame has the dynamic weather. It's especially shown in the games Minecraft and The Forest.
    • Additionally, he also loves the sound of stepping on snow and the crunching noise that it makes revealed on a backrooms compilation reaction.
  • Ryan loves tea and has drank it in various places on his 28th Birthday such as the top of a cold mountain, with himself, in the FNaF 1 Office, the Backrooms, in a random cinema, on a plane, with Leon "S" Kennedy, in a Squid Game, and in the Skyrim.
  • There's actually a dedicated Friday Night Funkin' Mod made as a love letter to him, and has played the modded game on a video.
  • Around August 27, 2022, Ryan has gave his own thoughts about the Problem about YouTube, an issue where some YouTubers get their videos age restricted without any clarity from YouTube as to why, while others are not for a good amount of time even though it showcases the same content in the game The Mortuary Assistant.
  • He has stated on a video that he actually tries to read most of his comments, after making a video talking about another problem from YouTube, where the comments he receives on his channel weren't properly displaying on the page, returning with a 500 Error.[2]
  • Ryan has a small voice role in Dying Light 2, as a character named Ryan who gives a sidequest. [3]

Ryan has played hundreds of games within his YouTube career, most popular of which is his Five Nights at Freddy's series, which has gained millions upon millions of views. Other notable series include Subnautica and ClusterTruck.
