Atlas Wylde (born April 23, 1992 (1992-04-23) [age 32]),[1] formerly Ashley's Wylde Life was a YouTuber who made videos about being non-binary. The “A” in A. Wylde can stand for Ashley, but Atlas is more correct.[2] Atlas also uses they/them pronouns.[3]

Personal life[]

Atlas graduated from Colorado State University in 2016, with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies.[4]

Atlas identifies as mixed-race. Their mother is Venezuelan.[5] They have a younger brother.[6]

Atlas is 6' 1".[7]

Writing[]

From 2011 until 2014, Atlas wrote and performed spoken word poetry. They competed in the Women of the World Poetry Slam in 2012.[8]

In 2018, Atlas self-published the art concept novel, BLANK.[9]

YouTube[]

Atlas' 2018 film Elles, was an official selection at the Buffer Festival. It is about four non-binary Latinx people, including Annie Elainey.[10]

In collaboration with Catherine Simone and Christian Covington, Ashley contributed to the collaborative channel Boxed Wine & Bullshit. Previously, they ran the collaboration channel Funny Gay Kids from 2010-2012.[11]

In July 2015, Atlas created The Gender Tag, which asked a set of ten prompts related to the experience of gender.[12] It received over six hundred responses. In March 2016, they gave a TED Talk on the tag.[13]
