The American Broadcasting Company (initialized as ABC), is an American commercial broadcast radio and television networks that is a subsidiary of the Disney Media Networks division of The Walt Disney Company. The network is headquartered in Burbank, California, on Riverside Drive, directly across the street from Walt Disney Studios and adjacent to the Roy E. Disney Animation Building.
The network's secondary offices, and headquarters of its news division, is in New York City, New York, at their broadcast center at 77 West 66th Street in the Upper West Side of Manhattan.

ABC Began in 1928. ABC News began in 1943. In 1948 TV broadcast begun. In the 1950s they began to broadcast TV shows, In 1984 they bought ESPN. In 1996 They were bought by Disney. Today they have shows like American Idol, Family Feud and General Hospital. They are known as one of the big 3 along with CBS and NBC.

On April 10, 2009, ABC would upload its first video titled "Downstairs Moment 4/8 - Scrubs", which is currently blocked in 248 countries, except for the United States of America.
