Aba Atlas (born April 30, 1990) and Erich "Preach" Étienne (born February 18, 1982)[1], known online as Aba N Preach are a Canadian duo of commentary and reaction YouTubers, they give their opinions on taboos, culture and social issues and reacting to videos.
Content[]
The channel's first video was a vlog by Aba titled Dear Mother. The next video was about Aba on heightism, and it became the channel's most viewed video. Some of their next videos were about dating[2][3], but they mostly reacted to videos from Riley J. Dennis[4], Dr. Phil[5], The Onion[6], Christina Sommers[7], Tomi Lahren[8] as well as miscellaneous[9] videos[10] regarding controversies[11] about racism.
They would keep this style of reacting up though around 2020 they focused more on YouTubers and comedians[12] like PewDiePie[13], Girl Defined[14] and Brooke Houts[15], amongst commenting on social issues[16] and drama[17][18][19]. They would also react to bad advice[20][21] regarding dating and things like "the girl code"[22].
Around 2021, most of their content began centering on Jubilee, a company and social media agency that was known to highlight the flaws of society and give silent commentary on them.[citation needed] They were very critical of the company and its participants, to the point Jubilee itself released a video[23] calling them out for bullying and how much they hated Aba and Preach reacting to them.
Ironically, Aba and Preach reacted to this video[24], calling Jubilee sensitive and unable to accept criticsm. They have also started to make videos satirizing society and modern culture[25].
Controversy[]
Racism[]
Aba and Preach have expressed an extremely negative opinion on India, mainly on safety for tourists, especially women. In a video reacting to a foreign tourist's experience of being sexually assaulted in India,[26] Aba stated that India is not a safe place for any tourists, citing the high frequency of sexual assaults, such as a Korean vlogger harassed in Rajasthan and a Dutch tourist assaulted in Goa.[27] Perhaps, most infamous is their extremely racist comment calling indians slurs in March 2025.[28]
