abitfrank is an American[citation needed] YouTuber known for analyzing the disturbing origins of children's media and horror content.[citation needed]
Content[]
She makes animations about the grim and creepy origins of fairy tales and other stories. A large portion of her content is centered around Disney and its adaptations of the Grimm Brothers fairy tales, and what Disney left out,[1] or classic animated films such as Studio Ghibli's Howl's Moving Castle.[2]
She loves Coraline, and has a number of videos where she makes fan theories and analysis of it. Her series "Book vs Movie"[3] is dedicated to dissecting why animation as a medium leaves out content in the book and other fairy tale content. Despite the fact that most of her content is centered on western media, she watches horror anime, such as Tokyo Ghoul.[4]
Her first videos were animations of Coraline, as well as criticisms of the animation industry. She is a huge fan of Markiplier, even making an animation of him,[5] and her inspirations include Felix Colgrave. She has collaborated with big name YouTubers such as TheAMaazing and Nevercake too.[6][7]
In 2021 she started to make ASMRs.[8]
