Antoine Franklin McColister (born: May 11, 1988[1] better known professionally as Ace Hood, is an American rapper known for his music.

McColister was born on May 11, 1988, in Port St. Lucie, Florida. After a football injury in the 10th grade, he began to seriously consider rapping as a career after realizing he wouldn't be able to go pro. He teamed up with a local group called Dollaz & Dealz and released a single titled "M.O.E." in 2006. He also promoted himself around town.
Career[]
McColister met DJ Khaled in Miami, Florida, in 2007. After he gave Khaled an autobiography and his demo tape, he asked McColister to do a freestyle over the instrumental of his song "I'm So Hood" from his second album We the Best, and later signed him to his We the Best Music Group label.
He released his first album, Gutta, in 2008. Notable features from the album include T-Pain, Rick Ross, and Trey Songz. He also released the mixtapes Ace Won't Fold and All Bets On Ace. In 2009, he released his second album, Ruthless, and in 2011, he released his third album, Blood, Sweat & Tears. The first official single, "Hustle Hard", became his highest charting solo single, peaking at number 60 on the Billboard Hot 100.
In 2013, he released his fourth album, Trials & Tribulations which spawned one of his most popular singles, "Bugatti", featuring Future and Rick Ross.

McColister created his channel on January 31, 2011, but uploaded his first video on November 22, 2009. He uploads music videos and audio to his channel.
