Sean Fitzgerald[1], better known online as Actual Justice Warrior (or AJW for short), is a right-wing libertarian YouTuber who makes commentary videos on hot-button political issues of the moment, along with videos that criticize leftists and their talking points.

Videos regarding the latter led Sean's rise to prominence in YouTube's right wing circles, as well as infamy in left wing spheres. His videos consist of a face-cam with him speaking his mind on certain topics, before cutting to either a photo or separate video clip when necessary to present evidence backing his views.

Sean joined the ranks of YouTubers who made anti-SJW videos in September of 2016, getting thousands of views per video and occasionally passing 100,000 views. A video highly critical of The Young Turks gained over 150,000 views and 5K likes.

Response videos to TYT were continuously successful for AJW. On February 16 of 2017, AJW defended PewDiePie in the midst of his controversy of allegations of being a neo-nazi, explaining that he wasn’t.

Content[]

His first foray into reviewing political debates was following the Destiny-JonTron debate. He explained that JonTron lost, but not because of JonTron’s views against the regressive left. It was because Jontron wasn’t prepared for political debates, let alone underhanded tactics someone like Destiny would use. Since then, AJW has continued to make videos reviewing political debates, whether it was between other YouTubers or ones he was involved in.

In May or June of 2017 (the video was put on private by OGMizen), he 1v3 debated Ask Yourself, OGMizen, and Vegan Revolution.

Sean posted debate recaps of said debate. While these got more views, they also got more dislikes. This is probably because he had less than 250 subscribers at the time, while his opponents had far more.

Sean had a brief feud with Battening to come to the defense of himself as well as NO B.S. in 2017. However, his videos regarding the subject were heavily ratioed, and many comments criticized AJW. This can likely also be attributed to the major difference in subscribers between Battening and AJW at that time.

On December 8, 2018, AJW made a video critical of Adam Ruins Everything and his stance on gun control. It is his most popular video ever, with over 700K views and 30K likes. AJW continued making videos that called out Adam.

In December of 2018 he debated Hasan Piker, Cenk Uygur’s nephew. He also made a recap of said debate. AJW continued making videos critical of Piker, which were well-received.

In April 2019 AJW came to Hunter Avallone’s defense following Hunter’s YouTube ban. Said video did not age well, in light of Hunter’s political shift and newfound mutual animosity towards AJW. AJW later released multiple videos critical of Hunter, while Hunter would go on to denounce AJW during a debate panel in April 2021. In an interview with Tim Pool, Hunter stated that he would not debate Sean due to him being 'creepy'.

He debated Vaush[2][3] in May 2020, which included a recap. Both sides claimed victory.

In August 2020, AJW was on a debate panel for immigration.

AJW debated Lance of The Serfs in July 2020 after a longstanding argument surrounding the circumstances of Mike Brown’s killing. Lance made multiple videos about Sean until he responded in April 2021.

In June 2021 he debated Destiny and Riley Grace Roshong on Critical Race Theory, Defund the Police, and Transphobia.

Trivia[]

  • AJW has a rapport with Lauren Chen.
  • He lives in New York with his girlfriend
  • He has two degrees in Criminal Justice.
  • He also had a friendship with No B.S., although this seems to have cooled off as the two grew apart over the years.
  • Despite all the subjects and feuds AJW has been involved in, the only ones that led to him being ratioed were when he came to the defense of No B.S. This was likely because AJW only had less than 250 subs at the time, and the channels he was criticizing had many more.
  • He would incorrectly predict Deryck Chauvin being found innocent of the murder of George Floyd.
  • He would make a video claiming Trump supporters don’t riot, only to be proven wrong by the January 6 riot. However, he also claimed that if Republicans rioted at all, we’d never hear the end of it. He was proven correct on this.
  • He has a second YouTube channel called 'AJW 2 Dreams Come True'.
