Adam Kontras (born: October 9, 1975) is an American singer, songwriter, animator, film editor, director, and comedian. Born in Columbus, Ohio, he has gain recognition as the first person to upload vlogs on the internet before everyone else, having begun posting videos alongside his blog entries on January 2, 2000. Though since YouTube was launched 5 years after his vlogging career, they were uploaded elsewhere before YouTube.

He calls his vlogging series "The Journey". Though, despite all of this, he has 2.6K+ subscribers as of 24 August 2021. He has almost two thousand vlogs as of August 24, 2021, and has been uploading on a weekly basis recently.
While 5ninthavenueproject is considered as one of the oldest vloggers, he had no acknowledgement that his activity would be called "vlogging" and would be posted on the internet, since the World Wide Web was founded after his death. His intention was to turn his vlogging home videos into a cable television show and not a web series (which didn't exist back then).
Though, since he died, his friend Dick Richards uploaded his vlogs to YouTube, some time after Kontras.
