Adam Martyn Smith or just Adam Martyn is a British YouTuber, actor, and television historian. He has appeared as a voice actor in an official Dr Who audio-drama,[1] and additionally performs in pantomimes.[2]

He uploads videos around collecting physical media,[3] the history of the British television industry,[4] and television idents, the buffers which play between shows while the continuity announcer gives updates on what's about to play.[5] He previously made videos on Dr Who and the NOW series of albums, but those were moved to separate channels.[6][7]

He has had a number of successful videos about the history of British television, including the formation of ITV,[8] and its various strikes which shaped it's history.[9] He also focuses on television news, such as when a channel is launched or shut down, or makes a big change to it's lineup.[10][11] The channel goes over all aspects of TV and the industry.
