Hi, I'm Aeon, and this a video!

―AeonAir's intro

Jonas Smith, better known online as AeonAir, is a Norwegian gaming YouTuber who mainly plays Geometry Dash and currently has beaten some of the hardest levels such as Hard Machine, RUST, Bloodlust, Yatagarasu and many others, some list worthy.

History[]

Aeonair uploaded his first video on July 29, 2014, which was titled "New UBER HARD level by Aeon - To The Stars (2400+ attempts to verify)". However afterwards, he did not upload until March 22, 2017, when he uploaded a video of him beating Cataclysm, an extreme demon in Geometry Dash. He kept uploading and took another break in 2019. He returned in 2020. As of 2021, Aeon continues to upload content to his channel on a near-daily basis.

Subscriber milestones[]

Note: The following dates are according to Social Blade. Dates may vary by one or two days due to differences in time zones.

  • 25,000 Subscribers: September 2019
  • 50,000 Subscribers: November 2020
  • 75,000 Subscribers: June 2021
  • 100,000 Subscribers: November 2021

Trivia[]

  • He and EricVanWilderman did "the 12 Demons of Christmas" together in 2021, where they each beat a different demon, normally extreme and insane, but sometimes hard, for every day of the '12 Days Of Christmas'. In 2021, they alternated, so they each got 12 days. Aeon would beat then upload every even day (2, 4, 6, 8, etc.) while EricVanWilderman did every odd day (1, 3, 5, 7, etc.) This would continue until December 24 (for Aeon) or December 23 (For Eric).
  • He released his completion video for the three Sonic Wave levels mentioned below on April 1st, partly as an April Fool's joke even though he did actually complete them all legitimately. He previously mentioned that he was working on beating some other main list demon levels in secret, not revealing what they were, however he has stated that he does not wish to do any more major completions in secret.
  • Aeon completed Yatagarasu by Trusta in secret as with Sonic Wave, and he got many 'hackusations' (accusing someone of hacking), understandably as at the time, it was his hardest completion.
  • He uses the same gaming chair PewDiePie uses.

Completed Demon Levels[]

  • As of January 2022, AeonAir's Hardest completed demon level is 'Hard Machine’ by komp, which is placed no.18 on the Pointercrate Demon List. He beat it in 132115 attempts after more than 250 hours of playing the level. His second hardest is 'RUST' by Neigefeu, placed no.53. this is followed by Bloodlust, Arctic Lights, Nhelv, Ouroboros, ATOMIC CANNON, Frozen Cave, Requiem and Sink as his top 10 hardest completions.
  • Other notable completions include three levels in the Sonic Wave series- Sonic Wave, Sonic Wave Rebirth, and Auditory Breaker, all three which he beat entirely in secret, even though he had previously mentioned that he strongly disliked these levels.
  • He verified a level called 'NEUTRA' on February 14, 2023. The level is currently the 36th hardest level in the game.
