Against the Current (or simply ATC), is an American rock band consisting of lead vocalist Christina Nicola "Chrissy" Costanza (born: August 23, 1995 (1995-08-23) [age 29]), guitarist Daniel "Dan" Gow (born: December 8, 1995 (1995-12-08) [age 28]), and drummer William "Will" Ferri (born: April 23, 1996 (1996-04-23) [age 28]). They gained fame by posting covers of their songs on YouTube. Their main music genre is pop rock, however, they also make pop-punk, alternative rock, and synth-rock.

History[]

In 2011, Against the Current was founded by Dan, Will, and their former pianist Jeremy Rompala. They were joined by Chrissy in the summer of 2011 after getting introduced to Dan, Will, and Jeremy through a mutual friend. Joe Simmons was invited to be their bass player and joined the band after leaving his former band. They gained fame through covers of popular songs. They gained even more fame through their song, Legends Never Die.
