Aidan Chick (birthday: September 24), also known online as Tempest Films or Halixeon, is an American YouTuber, director, musician, and actor. He used to be known for making short films on the Tempest Universe. Aidan currently produces music on his YouTube channel.
History[]
In 2018, Aidan and his friend, Mathew Cherfane created a channel called Tempest Films. The channel would host a series called Tempest Universe, with several short films and analog videos such as Channel 7, The Promethean Project, Analog Archives, etc.
He mainly makes content on his channel with his same name, where he makes commentaries to films and mysterious events as well as making music. Aidan mainly creates music within the techno and pop genre, saying he was influenced by anime.

Tempest Films is an episodic horror series set within the Tempest Universe created by Aidan and Mathew Cherfane. The series follows multiple characters encountering numerous strange occurrences and governmental conspiracies. Most of the episodes star Aidan along with his friends playing as multiple characters. Tempest Films currently has nine videos uploaded, but more are planned to be released.
Tempest Universe is a channel which uploads videos connected within the Tempest Universe. One of the most notable being Channel 7, an analog horror series which presents itself as a television station, but actually having more disturbing broadcasts and signals. Channel 7 first debuted in 2018, currently having 21 episodes within the series. Tempest Universe also uploads compilations of Aidan's other series, including Stargaze, Analog Archives, Cloak of Shadow, etc.
Tempest Extras upload behind the scenes and vlogs from the Tempest Films channel. Aidan also posts vacation vlogs and soundtracks to his Tempest films and shows.
Analog Archives is an Analog horror series created in 2018. Similarly to Channel 7, the episodes present themselves as recovered lost tapes and found footage of multiple different subjects, but also having disturbing moments or implications. There are currently nine episodes within the Analog Archives series.
Halixeon was Aidan's older music channel and pseudonym. He used to upload songs which have a EDM and indie pop, similarly to Madeon and Zedd. Aidan also says that he was influenced by older, retro anime, such as Neon Genesis Evangelion and Serial Experiments Lain. Currently, he's only released two songs onto the channel, but has said he's working on an album which is slated to be released in 2022.
