Air Caraïbes is a French airliner based from the French West Indies.[1] They fly to 11 destinations[2] and have a fleet size of 12.[3]
History[]
The airline was founded in July 2000 by Jean-Paul Dubreuil.[4][5]
On March 24, 2001, Air Caraïbes Flight 1501 crashed into a house while trying to approach at Saint Barthélemy Airport.[6] Everyone on board, including one person from the ground, died.[7] It's the only accident the airline has experienced.
In 2003, they ordered long-haul aircrafts, mainly Airbus A330s.[8]
In 2017, they ordered their first A350-900, while also purchasing new A350-1000s.[9]
Channel & content[]
The channel was created on May 8, 2009, and began uploading on March 25, 2011.[10] On August 8, 2016, they uploaded their first short, showing Tareek promoting a show in Guadelope.[11] On November 30, 2021, they published their first livestream displaying a meeting between both Air Caraïbes and French Bee.[12]
On their channel, they upload both educational videos[13] and vlogs.[14] Their educational videos are mainly animated.[15] All of their videos are in French.[16]
