Adam Narkiewicz, (born: May 16, 1980 (1980-05-16) [age 43]) better known online as Akira The Don, is an English musician, DJ, former rapper, and the creator of the genre "Meaningwave" on YouTube, SoundCloud and Spotify.

He's most known for making songs such as Hypocrite, and CLONES, two songs that are well known in Newgrounds in the 2000s, with collaboration to his little brother (Zef on Newgrounds) and Wonchop, animator for Tomska.


Music Career

He first started with his first EP in 2004 titled "Akira the Don's first EP", supposedly with his first song "The Drinking Song", which got known in Newgrounds in that year. In 2005, he released his second EP titled "AAA", featuring three songs. One of them being Patrick, which Akira The Don himself said in his livestream during the power outage in Texas, was about someone who he had known in 1997, before Patrick took his own life. The music video was up in Real Player before it became unavailable to access it again. The music video however is uploaded to YouTube in 2006. Another was "Living in the Future", which is featured in Newgrounds at one point about the artist himself.

It was later in 2006 where he made his first album, which being "When We Were Young", which was his first album released. It later on gain few attention with his song "Oh! What a Glorious Thing", "Hypocrite" and "Clones", as those songs have spark a light on his recognition on the internet in Newgrounds thanks to British animator Wonchop.

As of 2017, and now, he's been making songs with his own genre, Meaningwave, a mixture of Vaporwave, and soundbites from Jordan Peterson, Alan Watts, Elon Musk and others, which is aimed at inspiring people to find wholesomeness in their lives.
