Alan Eugene Jackson[1] (born: October 17, 1958 )[1] is an American[2] singer and song writer. He is known for honoring a “neotraditional country” musical style, and for penning many of his own songs.[3]

Alan created his channel on July 21, 2006,[4] and uploaded his first video on February 18, 2008.[5] His most popular video was uploaded on October 2, 2009, which gained over 300 million views.[6]
Personal life[]
Alan was born to Ruth Jackson and Eugene Jackson on October 17, 1958, in Newnan, Georgia.[7][1] He has four sisters: Diane, Cathy, Carol, and Connie.[7] At the age of 12, he got his first job at a shoe shop.[8] He got married to his wife, Denise, on December 15, 1979, whom he met back in school when he was a teenager.[9] They have three daughters: Mattie Denise, Alexandra Jane, and Dani Grace.[9] The two separated back in 1997 for a short period of time.[9] In 2021, Alan revealed that he was suffering from Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease and that it had been affecting him for a few years.[10]
