Content[]

Alasdair's first video was a clip of him doing stand up comedy from 2017.[1] He has dabbled in animation, making an animated music trailer of his channel in 2019.[2] His videos then changed to comedic skits of TV shows and dramas, as well as doing impressions of classic literature characters[3] and tropes.[4] His comedy was based on olden types of humour and inspired by Monty Python.[5] He has parodied Star Trek,[6] The Birds,[7], cop shows[8] and older cartoons.[9] He would also rewrite plays like King Lear[10] in his own style.

As an Englishman, he makes videos of American franchises if they were British, such as Jaws (1975)[11] and The Simpsons.[12] His vocal range shows that he can imitate several different English accents.[13] In his series "Cute Redhead Explains",[14] he summarizes theaters, movies and other film related topics. Several characters in his YouTube Channel's lore include Gunnars Gunnarson, his son Gunnars Gunnarsonson, and the man in the crisp.[15][16]

He has won several awards, such as:
