Alexander George Clare[1] (born: September 14, 1985 ),[3] better known professionally as Alex Clare, is an English[2] musician.
Early life[]
Alex was born on September 14, 1985, in London, United Kingdom.[3] He grew up listening to his parents' vintage soul, blues, and jazz records.[3] In the mid-2000s, he learned to play the drums and dated Amy Winehouse.[3]
Career[]
Alex released an album titled The Lateness of the Hour in 2011.[4] In it were popular songs he made including “Up All Night”,[4] “Treading Water”,[4] and “Too Close”,[4] which the latter became one of his most popular songs, even being featured on Internet Explorer 9’s many advertisements in March 2012.[5]

The channel was created on January 5, 2007, and the first video was uploaded on November 10, 2010.[6] His channel had gone on a hiatus since September 10, 2018,[7] but returned on October 21, 2021, with the song "Why Don't Ya."[8]
