Alteori is an American YouTuber from the United States who is dedicated to talking about TV shows and movies while also covering fan theories, news, reviews and recaps in story format.[citation needed]
Content[]
Her first video was from 2018, where she talked about Carrie's betrayal of Frank from House of Cards, and also talked about Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Mr. Robot, The Orville, Rick & Morty, Preacher, and Godzilla, though she also discussed movies like LIFE (2017). For some time most of her videos were focused on the Jurassic Park movies and she would make videos theorizing/explaining the behavior and origins of the dinosaurs.[citation needed]
She is also a huge fan of the How To Train Your Dragon trilogy and has made several videos on them too. Her first anime review was of the Netflix adaptation of Devilman Crybaby, and she has a love for the Attack on Titan series as well.[citation needed]
Sometimes she will cover controversies,[1] like the hatred towards Captain Marvel from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, shipping discourse[2] or the Uzaki-chan backlash.[3] In her video about Captain Marvel she points out how Carol was written as flawless, and said that characters in general need to be well written first and their traits, such as race and gender, need to be put second.[citation needed]
She also praised Genndy Tartovsky's PRIMAL for celebrating masculinity.[4] She also loves it due to it being part of the big monster genre, and has covered monsters from pop culture[5] and movies as well.[6] Even though she has not covered comics in detail, she has reviewed Godzilla comics and Invincible.[7]
Logicholic[]
Alteori operates a second channel under the name of "Logicholic", where she acts out fanfictions and POV stories she's written. Most often, like on her main channel, the subjects of her videos are pop culture dinosaur/kaiju franchises. The most popular of Logicholic's series' is the controversial Monsterverse Adventures. These videos frequently include deeply NSFW topics like sexual assault and bestiality, making them borderline pornographic and in violation of YouTube TOS. As such, the following paragraph should be approached with caution. Reader discretion is advised.
Examples of Logicholic videos include, but are not limited to:
- A POV video of a Prehistoric Planet Velociraptor being repeatedly gang-raped
- A Monsterverse Adventures episode where Mothra is forcibly drugged and sexual assaulted by a tentacle monster
- Another Monstervere Adventures episode where Godzilla repeatedly attempts to rape a MUTO
- TBA
Alteori has been widely suspected as a zoophile in part due to this content.
Controversies[]
Alteori vs. Toxonomy[]
In late 2021, user Toxonomy made the discovery that one of Alteori's thumbnails (seen on video Romance in Camp Cretaceous?) was cropped pornography of 13 year old character Brooklynn. The actual content of the video was for the most part benign up until the end, where Alteori proceeds to go on a strange tangent about the potential sex lives of the children, explaining that she "looked it up" and flashing more (cropped) pornography, some including animals, on screen.[8]
In light of this information, Toxonomy (hereafter referred to as "Tox") published a now unlisted video documenting this, alongside blatantly NSFW content published to her second channel.[9] The video blew up instantly, and within the hour, Alteori published a hastily recorded live response. The video in question was around 30 minutes long, as opposed to Tox's video's six minute runtime, and while warmly received by her own fanbase, it was widely criticized by outside communities as being half an hour of deflection, fluff, and pity bait.[10] Alteori was not done, however, as she quickly went on the offensive with a nonstop stream of community posts and sent her fanbase on the attack, calling for subscribers to swarm Tox's channel and report his video. Highlights of these posts include one where Alteori seems to imply that she doxxed Tox, though the truth of that statement has been called into question.
Behind the scenes Alteori was reportedly reaching out to Tox, which, according to Tox himself, included her attempting to manipulative him and ruin his life.[11] Following the unceasing harassment and death threats, along with the threat of lawsuit and doxxing, Tox took everything off his channel that evening, and Alteori proceeded to erase all other evidence of the event.
Alteori later changed the thumbnail of Romance in Camp Cretaceous? to art of a middle finger.
