Alvin Mo, formerly known as Triangle Alliance, is a Hong Kong producer-songwriter and YouTuber, widely known for his music content. His primary content now consists of FL Studio videos, remixes, and original songs, and is known for his remixes of Alan Walker's tracks, albeit with his former alias.

Personal life[]

Mo was born on July 8, 2008, in Hong Kong.

History[]

Mo created the channel on 8th September 2017 under an unknown name, and the channel did not have any videos until August 2018, when Alvin started to post Rolling Sky and ROBLOX videos as well as minor music and comedic content. As the channel got more and more active, gaming content started to get much smaller in favor of more music due to inspiration from Alan Walker, and it hit 100 subscribers from August 2018 to February 2019.

Music content has been the most dominant on the channel since 2019. He had made two remixes of the same Rolling Sky level E-Labyrinth, leaving the second remix to be the most viewed video on the channel to current time. Despite this, the channel was still suffering in slow subscription rate, only to hit 200 subscribers on January 2020, though he hit 300 6 months later. He collaborated with a fellow musician ThristyHammer in 2020 on making a remix of the OST of Steam Era, which happened to be one of the last Rolling Sky levels till 2022. The remix's video currently has over 2K views on YouTube.

After announcing that the channel would become a collaborative channel run by multiple people, Triangle Alliance witnessed a much faster subscription rate, hitting from 300 to 700 over the course of 4 months. However, after hitting 700 on October, the group started to become inactive with seemingly member changes. Things returned to normal in 2022, and the channel's activity was revived while releasing their new album "CIVIL" at that year.

On May 31, 2022, the channel hit 800 subscribers on YouTube. A few days later, they released "On The Night (Shining Stars)" with Carldric Clement. The song is an alternate version of a song named "Shining Stars pt. II", which was released via the CIVIL album. After the release, the channel started creating remakes of songs by Marin Garrix that blew up their view rate on each video. This resulted in hitting 900 and 1K subscribers at the same time. Triangle Alliance announced a project presumably entitled "Rolling Sky", named after a popular game with the same name. This was later confirmed as an album and was released on January 20th, 2023. At the same day, Mo rebranded the name "Triangle Alliance" as his own alias again.

Mo eventually started to release more music, like "Waiting" with PeterGuo & "Live For Me" with Ball VRP on small labels of Sanctuary RCRDS & MNTN Records respectively. He also started to make more Alan Walker remixes, like "Lovesick", "Dreamer", "Hero," and "Endless Summer", all of which have already debuted in many festivals thanks to Alan Walker. Since July 2023, Mo also gained ownership of Bouncity, a SoundCloud page & label dedicated to the genre of future bounce.

On October 2023, Mo decided to drop the Triangle Alliance alias in favor of his real name for his future music. This decision received mixed reactions initially, but was quickly used to.

Content[]

Videos[]

Due to garnering inspiration from a wide range of video genres, videos created by Triangle Alliance can vary on style depending on the topic. Music videos are typically simple visualizer videos, gaming videos are styled to be very silly, immature and comedic, and so are his YouTube tutorials.

Genre[]

Triangle Alliance was initially more into progressive house & commercial house, but throughout 2023 he started to switch to future bounce dominantly, which led to his huge success & recognition.
