Death[]
On 21 July 2011, Amy's bodyguard saw her lying on the bed. He tried to wake her up but was unsuccessful, however, he didn't raise much suspicion as she would often sleep late after going on a night out. At around 3pm, he came back and saw her still lying on the bed, he went to check on her again only to find out that she wasn't breathing. He contacted emergency services and two ambulances reached Amy's house at around 3:54pm. The paramedics were unable to revive Amy, and she was pronounced dead at the scene. The Metropolitan Police Department would later confirm her death. It was later reported in an inquest that her blood alcohol content was over 0.416%, which was more than five times the legal drink-drive limit. Her cause of death was later ruled out to be from alcohol intoxication. Her bodyguard said she observed moderate drinking over the next few days, and said she had been "laughing, listening to music and watching TV at 2 AM" at the day of her death.
