Andamente is a Portuguese YouTuber that revolves around entertainment, mostly by travels and challenges. They gained recognition for visiting the most isolated people of Portugal, travelling from North to South of Portugal and for their Travel to Doha series.
Travel to Doha[]
The series started in October 17, 2022 and ended in December 11, 2022. It revolved around travelling from Lisbon to Doha by hitchhiking to support the Portuguese National Football Selection. They traveled around 10 countries and 8,000 kilometers, though one of the group could only accompany them later due to personal reasons.
Andamente went through a lot of problems through the series, which consisted in having some difficulties in finding a place to sleep (Having to use tents), getting rides and even having to fly from Turkey to Jordan due to the War happening between countries.
Meanwhile, a lot happened which consisted in being challenged by singer Peps (Florian Peppuy), crossing a country while dribbling a ball, avoid having problems with hitchhiking in Italy, as it was illegal at the time, hitchhiking a former refugee, trying to cross the Turkish border and camping in the middle of the desert.
The series gained national popularity and even internationally once they got in Qatar. Each video has more than 100,000 views.
