2010s[]

andersonkenya1 joined YouTube on July 7, 2010 and uploaded his first video 22 days later on July 29th. The video was "Sonic(me) and Super Mario vs Ryu and Ken", where he fought against Warusaki3's Ryu and Ken using Claymizer's first version of Sonic, with ShinRyoga and NeOaNkH's Mario being his teammate. The video was almost 2 minutes long, and Ryu and Ken lost against Sonic and Mario, which especially applied due to Sonic's high damaging moves.[3]. On July 31st, 2010. he started a series by the name of "Sonic(Me) and Super Mario MUGEN Survival Superstar Show", using the aforementioned versions of Sonic and Mario and defeating various opponents to survive for as long as possible. As of July 22, 2023, the series has 14 parts.[4]

His first M.U.G.E.N videos did not have an intro at the beginning, though this would change on August 7, 2010 with a video by the name of "Street Fighter vs Mortal Kombat MUGEN Battle Show!!!".[5]

Aside from recording M.U.G.E.N videos, andersonkenya1 also recorded a few Flash games, with the first one being Luigi's Day, which anderson recorded on September 19, 2010.[6]

From June 5th to June 11th, 2011, anderson uploaded three videos of Super Smash Bros. for the N64. These were the only three videos of Super Smash Bros. that anderson has uploaded, and has not uploaded a new Smash video since then.[7][8][9]

From May 25th, 2012 to August 27th, 2013, andersonkenya1 would occasionally upload videos of the Wii version of Puyo Puyo!! 20th Anniversary, playing all charaters' story modes, with usually getting an S rank after finishing a match, though he would occasionally get the A rank instead.[10]

Since November 17th, 2015, andersonkenya1 began uploading matches where he uses a team of four characters to defeat another user's team, which started with a video where he fights RedBirdRandomness' team.[11][12]

On December 31st, 2019, andersonkenya1 uploaded a video by the name of "Andersonkenya1 2010-2019 1st Generation Ultimate Mugen Compilation!", which included a compilation of some of his matches he recorded in 2010-2019.[13]

2020s[]

As of 2020, andersonkenya1 suddenly started uploading videos less, but still uploads from time to time. While most do not know why, it could be due to anderson being busier in real life than how he was in 2010s, or that he could be trying to find an idea for a match or choose a user to fight their team.

Despite this, andersonkenya1 still uploads various M.U.G.E.N matches, with the same style he uses currently.

Trivia[]

  • andersonkenya1's intros are notable for being unusually long, usually lasting for 30 seconds or a minute.
    • Despite this, plenty of his videos do not have that long intros, only having a text showing the characters that will appear in a match, along with a year when the video was uploaded.
  • andersonkenya1's videos which used an intro with the "Change Ur World" song by KAT-TUN were shortened possibly around 2020-2021, likely due to copyright reasons.
    • However, this caused some videos to break and the match was shown midway instead of fully. His sixth part of "Sonic(Me) and Super Mario MUGEN Survival Superstar Show" was in fact taken down due to it, but was brought back in 2024, although the video is silent for nearly the entire duration.[14]
  • His most viewed video is "Spongebob & Patrick vs Mario & Luigi (Warner) MUGEN Battle!!! (REMATCH)", which was uploaded on September 12, 2011.[15]
