Andy Jiang (born: December 7, 2002 (2002-12-07) [age 22]) is a Chinese-American YouTuber who makes a wide variety of short and long videos of him sharing interesting and unusual stories. He is currently residing in the United States.[citation needed] He uploads new videos on a daily basis.[citation needed]

Content[]

He uploads a wide variety of shorts (and occasionally long form videos) of him educating and sharing interesting, unusual, or mysterious facts and stories about people, animals, or events to his viewers. For example, he made a video on a Finnish soldier who took his entire troop's supply of meth and explained what happened next, which is a type of video that could lead some curiosity to the viewers.[citation needed]

History[]

Andy Jiang launched his YouTube channel on September 20, 2012, and uploaded his first video titled "RIVETING STORIES FROM HISTORY- andyyjiang TikTok Compilation", on May 4, 2021. He gained recognition more prominently in 2021 and exponential growth in 2022.[citation needed]

On April 19, 2023, he would launch a new series called "Hidden Stories" and began uploading long form videos.[1] Later on September 28, 2023, Andy Jiang announced in all of his Hidden Stories videos in the comment section that he would be starting to post new Hidden Stories videos to a new channel, Hidden Stories. His remaining hidden stories will still be on his channel.[2] He also linked the channel in his channel.[3]

He was born in Beijing, China, but moved to California at young age. Andy currently lives in Maryland.[4]
