Angelina Mango (born: April 10, 2001)[1] is an Italian[2] singer-songwriter. She represented Italy in the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest with the song "La noia", which finished 7th.

Early life[]
Angelina Mango was born on April 10, 2001, in Maratea, Potenza, Basilicata, was the daughter of former Matia Bazar singer Laura Valente and Giuseppe Mango.[3][4][5][6][7] She was raised in Lagonegro, Potenza, with her brother Filippo, who shares a passion for music.[8][9] Growing up in a musical family, she learned to sing, play piano and guitar,[10][11] and at age 5, she started practicing dance for 10 years.[citation needed]
Music career[]
On 13 November 2020, Mango released her first single "Va tutto bene", which anticipated her debut extended play Monolocale.[12]
On 12 May 2023, Mango released the single "Ci pensiamo domani", which anticipated the EP Voglia di vivere, released on 19 May 2023.[13]
Eurovision Song Contest[]
On February 7, 2024, Angelina Mango released her song "La noia" (translation: Boredom). Angelina Mango competed in and won the Sanremo Music Festival 2024 with the song "La noia".[14] Following her victory, she confirmed her selection to represent Italy in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024.[15]
