Hey guys, AntVenom here, and welcome back to another Minecraft video.

―AntVenom's usual intro, and his antvenom.com slogan

Taylor "Hank" Harris (born: March 29, 1990 (1990-03-29) [age 34]), better known online as AntVenom, is an American Minecraft commentator noted for his victory of the first three Minecraft Survival Games.

History[]

He originally ran a Runescape series, which contained comedic skits based on the game, and later got into Minecraft. His most known series is a series titled Hunt for the Golden Apple, a Minecraft series in which he tries to find a Golden Apple in a Dungeon. He is also well known for a series titled Aether Mod Adventure, a series in which he plays with the Aether mod for Minecraft. He also did a series titled The Aether II, a series in which he plays with the mod's newly revamped 2.0 stage. He is also well known for a Survival Games series he made with xRpMx13.

AntVenom used to date Grailmore, stated via Twitter. On Twitter, Ant stated that Grailmore and Ant went their separate ways. Like how SkyDoesMinecraft has a hatred of squids, he has a hatred for cows. AntVenom is known for his PvP and parkour skills. AntVenom has also appeared as a character in HappyHour's animated series "Minecraft: The N00b Adventures" in which he plays himself. The scripts for his videos are written by Michaelmcchill . He is one of the 32 YouTubers to be featured in Kris Madas' YouTuber Intro Challenge. He is also one of the YouTubers to have their intro in it.

However, since 2014, his channel has suddenly stopped growing despite him constantly uploading, and his channel froze at 2 million subscribers. After some struggle with YouTube, he declared a break from YouTube and would return sometime later. He has discussed why his channel suddenly fell out of the algorithm's favor, and concluded that his video types are too dull and cannot attract old viewers that have seen the same type of content hundreds of times.

He would then enter a new phase of his channel when he stopped uploading let's plays and focus on discussing the game's core mechanics, exploring the limits of Minecraft and breaking Minecraft multiple times, which he calls "AntVenom 3.0" as the next phase after "AntVenom 2.0". Since then, his videos began attracting newer audiences and amassed 3 million subscribers.

MC Championship[]

MC Championship is a Minecraft Tournament for YouTubers and streamers run by the Noxcrew, in which 10 teams of four compete in a series of 8 minigames decided by the participants. A point multiplier makes each game worth more as each round passes, incentivizing teams to vote for games they might be bad at early on in the event. In the end, the two teams with the most points face off in a round of ‘Dodgebolt’ to decide the winner of the tournament. This makes it possible for a team to win despite potentially having fewer points than the runner-up.

Canon Events[]

Half-Canon Events[]

  • MC Championship 27: Team Orange Ocelots. Teamed with vGumiho, DanTDM, and BaboAbe. Tied for 11th individual with Kara Corvus and his team placed 6th overall.

Minecraft Seed Showcase was a series in which AntVenom showed off World Generation Seeds in Minecraft that he found or were suggested to him. In the video he shows off the uniqueness of the generated level, such as picturesque villages or networks of abandoned mineshafts, located close to the original spawnpoint of the map. Strange rock formations or cliffs are also part of the showcase.

Mod Reviews[]

AntVenom is also famous for his countless "Minecraft Mod Reviews", where he picked a usually relatively new mod, and told about its features and implementations. Most of the time, the mods that he reviews are not (yet) popular, but have potential to become something amazing.
