Anya Melfissa (born March 12 [Age confidential])^{[citation needed]} is an Indonesian^{[citation needed]} VTuber affiliated with Hololive as part of its second generation of Indonesian VTubers, alongside Ollie Kureiji and Reine Pavolia. ^{[citation needed]}

Content

Anya debuted on December 5, 2020, one day after Ollie Kureiji and one day before Reine Pavolia, her fellow Hololive Indonesia Second Generation VTubers. By the time it had ended, she had 100,000 subscribers. Even though she is Indonesian, she once produced a video entirely in Japanese. The first game she streamed was Among Us.

She has also played Aracea: New Dimension Rhythym Game, Project Winter, Mad Father, Phasmophobia, Outer Wilds, Terraria, Dead by Daylight, Miitopia, Death Stranding, Blue Archive, Untitled Goose Game, Alchemy Stars, The Gjost Train, Crystar, Lost in Random, A Bird Story, Sky:Children of the Light, The Caregiver, Penguin's Dogma, Infliction, Story of Seasons, Idol Manager, Slither.io, Gnosia, Monster Hunter Rise, Monster Hunter Stories, Cooking Simulator, We Were Here Too, D4DJ and Devour.^{[citation needed]}

Anya is also often categorized as a "Yandere" by her audience due to sadistic comments and thoughts on on her end while gaming and streaming, particularly during the stream of her playing Mad Father. She usually adopts an apathetic and monotoned demeanor whilst playing horror games. Even in casual games like Idol Manager Anya cats cruelly and overworks the NPCs.^{[citation needed]}

Anya has stated that her goals are interacting with her senpais and doing collabs with them (by senpais she means VTubers such as Gura Gawr and Rushia Uruha), having a 3D model, reach Fubuki Shirakami's sub count, getting a new PC suitable for streaming as her old one is laggy and releasing an original song. She also has a series called Consultation Corner where she gives advice, like how to be a VTuber. She also handles romantic confessions in the same series.

She also stated that she hates backseating and watching others game. Anya is also known for reading manga and light novels to her audience, such as The House in Fata Morgana - the veil over your eyes and 86. She has an affinity for horror/disturbing movies, as her first movie watchalong was of Snow White: A Tale of Terror, followed by Cats (2019).

She has covered the songs Gira Gira - Ado, phony - Tsumikii and Marshall Maximizer - Magnetite Hiiragi.^{[citation needed]}

In May 2021, Anya decided to venture into educational content and streamed herself learning Spanish through Duolingo. A month later she streamed herself learning Korean.

In December 2021, Anya started a weekly radio series called HoloID Sunday Morning Radio.^{[citation needed]}

Collaborations

Her first-stream post-debut was discussing her debut with Ollie. Her second collaboration was with her fellow second generation Indonesian VTubers as they all played Overcooked 2.

Anya's collaborations with others usually consist of Dead by Daylight, having played it with Gura, Choco, Roboco and various indie YouTubers. She and the former had a "cute-off" in their first collaboration, and bonded over, in Gura's terms, being "hydrodynamic". IRyS was tutored by Anya in Phasmophobia as well, and Kronii, Reine, IRyS and Anya played Payday 2 together. Anya, Kronii, Fauna and Reine played Viscera Cleanup Detail together. Sana and Anya have played various retro games.

All of HoloID generally appear in most of her Consultation streams where Anya gives them advice, and receives some in return.^{[citation needed]}

Anya's oshi is Fubuki, and she has praised her many times. The two have also collaborated for Dead by Daylight.

Anya and Ina have also played It Takes Two together, where they died a lot. Like Gura, Ina has also expressed shock at Anya's chest. According to her birthday call-in during Anya's 2022 birthday stream, Ina is addicted to Elden Ring.

She has also played Garctic Phone with HoloID, her fans, and often collaborates with Hololive EN. She has also played Super Mario Party with Aoi Nabi, Amelia's character designer, and Iida Pochi, Reine's character designer, likes to draw Anya a lot too. Anya calls Reine her elder sister. She has also played Dead by Daylight with Choco Yuzuki, Layla Alstronemiera and Siska Leontyne.

With the debut of HoloX, Anya played Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with newcomer Laplus (ft. Watame) and The Watchers with newcomer Koyori. She has also played ARK with Iroha and Mumei.

On January 30, 2022, Anya played Garctic Phone with other VTubers who shared her illustrator, Korone Pochi, Luca Polka, Yuko Sawaki and Tenki Apparedo.

With the debut of the new generation of Hololive Indonesia, Zeta, Anya and Risu played Minecraft together.

Anya was also part of the HoloENxID Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Tournament, part of the HoloIDxHoloStars Among Us Tournament (where it was revealed she wanted to kill Miyabi in the game), and was part of the HoloID/EN/JP Among Us collab. In the latter she proved to be skilled at spotting imposters and clues of their existence.^{[citation needed]}

With the debut of the third wave of Indonesian talents, Anya and Vestia played Operation: Tango together.

Design

Her character designer is Eku. Eku is also the character designer of Korone Pochi, Luca Polka, Yuko Sawaki, Mameko and Tenki Apparedo.^{[citation needed]}

Anya uses her second outfit when streaming more than her first one. She has said it is because "I feel like I can be myself in this outfit. Thank you. Interesting quesion. Like, I can stream like myself, I can speak like myself".^{[citation needed]}

She is 147cm.^{[citation needed]} She is the seventh shortest member of Hololive, after Laplus (139cm), Luna (140cm), Gura (141cm), Aqua (142cm), Rushia (143cm), and Shion (145cm).^{[citation needed]}

She doesn't wear shoes.

Her modeling was done by Shin Umiushi. His rigging caused issues on her model, such as her face freezing up at times. Anya was also originally flat chested according to concept art but his rigging had an error that caused her to be modelled as a shortstacked woman. However in August 2022, Anya was remodelled with a new rigger, otsukue, who modelled her avatar the way it was meant to be and also rigged her third outfit.

She’s just about always sleeping or playing games. Living mostly alone for so long has made her tend to be apathetic towards things and people she’s uninterested in, but when talking about things she likes, she can be quite childlike and passionate.^{[citation needed]}
