Apex Legends, or simply Apex, is an FPS game developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts. The game released on various devices in 2019, 2021, and 2022.

Apex is an online multiplayer battle royale game which features squads of three using pre-made characters, or "Legends", with powerful abilities. The game gets monetized through loot boxes and microtransactions, which allows the player to spend real life money or in-game currency. A single match usually features twenty squads of three players. Players can join or add friends or be matched with random people.
On ground, players can search and scavenge for weapons, armor, and other equipment scattered through buildings. A "ping system" is enabled so a player can message their squad certain details in their environment.
Apex has seasons, where each new season brings characters, new weapons, and cosmetic items.
