The Arizona Coyotes were an American NHL team. They were based in Tempe, Arizona, United States, and they played for the Central Division in the Western Conference.

History[]

They were created in 1972, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, with the name Winnipeg Jets.[Note 1][2]

In 1996, they moved to Phoenix, Arizona, United States, changing their name to the Phoenix Coyotes.[2][1]

In 2003, they moved to Glendale, Arizona, United States.[2]

In 2014, they changed their name to the Arizona Coyotes.[3]

In 2022, they moved to Tempe, Arizona, United States.[4]

In 2024, they were rendered inactive,[1] being replaced by the Utah Mammoth.[Note 2][1]

They created their channel on July 27, 2006.

On October 27, 2011, they uploaded their first video, titled "Hockey 101 with Professor Paul Episode 4."[5]

On April 10, 2024, they uploaded their last video, titled "4/10/24 Cooley and Head Coach André Tourigny Speak to the Media Following Tonight's Win vs Vancouver."[6]
