Arnold Alois Schwarzenegger (born: July 30, 1947) is an Austrian-American actor, businessman and former bodybuilder and politician who is best known for his role as the Terminator from the franchise with the same name. He also served as the governor of California from 2003-2011 as a member of the Republican Party.
Personal life[]
Schwarzenegger was born in Thal, Styria, Austria, on July 30, 1947, to Gustav and Aurelia Schwarzenegger. He began his career as a bodybuilder in 1961 after he was introduced to weight training at a local gym by his football coach.
He immigrated to the United States in October 1968, after dreaming since he was 10 to move to the country in search for more opportunities. He began his acting career in 1970, after he was chosen to play Hercules, the protagonist of Hercules in New York. On October 26, 1984, he starred as his most popular character, the Terminator, in the film with the same name.
In November 17, 2003, Schwarzenegger was elected as the governor of California after Gray Davis was removed from the position, winning around 4 million votes, which is equivalent to around 48% of the total registered votes. He would serve as governor of California from 2003 until January 3, 2011, where he won the 2006 elections and reached his two-term limit as governor of the state.
Schwarzenegger was married to Maria Shriver, one of former president John F. Kennedy's nieces, from 1986 until 2011. He has five children, whom are Katherine, Patrick, Joseph, Christopher, and Christina.

On November 15, 2007, nearly 4 years into his governorship, he created his YouTube channel, and uploaded his first video nearly a month later, which was a speech where he announces the creation of the EnCorps Teachers Program. His channel initially started off with mostly videos of his speeches and visits as the governor of California, before moving to recreating famous lines from several of his roles following the end of his governorship. His channel would later go on to feature a wide variety of videos, such as vlogs, messages on various events or responding to other events, speeches from him or from various figures during the Austrian World Summits, and trailers for movies that features him.
Will It Crush? and Arnold Schwarzenegger's Guide to Blowing Sh*t Up[]
"Will It Crush?" is a video based on the Will It Blend? series by Blendtec, where Schwarzenegger would crush random items with a tank. He released the trailer for these series of videos on March 5, 2014, after getting advice from u/ipeeinyourshower in his subreddit for a fundraiser of his to ride on a tank for After-School All-Stars on Omaze, earlier on December 19, 2013[1].
On March 13, 2014, Schwarzenegger released the video, where he crushes a horse-sized duck, a blender, a taxi cab, a couch potato, a giant easter egg, his bench press equipment, a toy tank, as well as equipment for children, and Schwarzenegger has also mentioned that he will select a random donator to crush tanks with him like what he does in the video.
On March 17, 2014, Schwarzenegger announced the winner was Alex, and him and Alex met up where the two, along with Harley Morenstein, went for a work-out before crushing several items with the tank. The footage of Alex and Schwarzenegger was uploaded on April 28, 2015, under the title of "Tanks for Nothing Official Trailer: Arnold, a Fan, and a Tank vs. Harley Morenstein".
On the same video, Schwarzenegger announced that another random donator for the fundraiser, can get to meet him later to blow up things with a rocket launcher[2]. He promoted the event again in a video titled "Arnold Schwarzenegger's Guide to Blowing Sh*t Up", where he blows up a sedan, three gummy bears, a bowl of spaghetti, as well as a movie theater entrance. Later, a person named Jeff won the contest, and got the opportunity to meet and hang out with Schwarzenegger to blow several items up[3][4].
