Asian Boss is a South Korean YouTube channel dedicated to documenting, explaining and spreading education about modern life in various Asian countries and cultures.^{[citation needed]} According to their YouTube description, they are a media company with a mission to bridge social and cultural gaps between Asia and the West. It is co-founded by Stephen Park and Kei Ibaraki.^{[citation needed]}

It is known for being a very ethical organization dedicated to helping the voiceless, and even former employees have spoken favourably of them.

Stephen Park

A former lawyer from South Korea, he walked away from his job to found Asian Boss, inspired by his own multicultural background.^{[citation needed]}

Marie-Christine Schulz

A biracial (German/Korean) influencer who helps host both Korean and Indian topics. After gaining fame for speaking at several German-speaking TV stations, she decided to join Asian Boss.^{[citation needed]}

Kei Ibaraki

Content

Most of their content is doing QnAs with strangers on the street, or interviewing jobs of people in various countries and how it differs from the West. They also shed light on underrepresented social issues like being LGBT in said countries, as well as their individual subcultures and communities.^{[citation needed]}

North Korea

Asian Boss had made a number of videos on North Korea, such as interviewing North Korean defectors, people who help them, and setting up blind dates between North and South Korean people.

South Korea

As Asian Boss is based in South Korea, majority of its content is focused on the country. Apart from the usual content that involves reaction to stereotypes, chronicling what its like living in South Korea as a citizen and a foreigner, they also have interviewed Top 1% students, war veterans, LGBT men who have HIV and single parents. Thanks to their involvement, they were able to raise $100K for a single parents organization.

Japan

Japan has several unique experiences exclusive to it, like ninjas, which Asian Boss has tried out. They also interview Japanese people on their thoughts about polarizing subjects like Muslims, LGBT, Koreans and the swastika. They have even interviewed Japanese nationalists and yakuza. They also have a portion dedicated to talking about how foreigners manage in Japan.

China

A lot of their Chinese-based content is based on perspective, specficially how it differs from Western ones on controversial issues such as blackface. They are not afraid to talk about stereotypes as well. However they have also made videos on life in China as both a citizen and a foreigner. In order to bridge the gap between China and Korea, they have also encouraged friendship between the two.

India

Their content based in India is centrally based around stereotypes, and the life of minorities in India such as Muslims and Christians.
