Audi is a German automobile company.[1]
History[]
The earliest predecessor of Audi, "Wanderer", was founded in 1885, but only on June 16, 1909, was Audi founded by August Horch, as "August Horch Automobilwerke GmbH", in Zwickau, Germany.[3] His former partners sued him for infringing a trademark from an earlier 1904 venture, so the name was changed in 1910 to Audi Automobilwerke GmbH Zwickau, and from 1915 on as Audiwerke AG Zwickau.[4] Its first car, the Audi Type A, was released, also in 1910.[5] In 1932, Audi entered a merger with Horch, DKW, and Wanderer, creating the modern day incarnation of Audi.[6]

The Audi channel was created on April 17, 2018,[1] and its first video was uploaded on April 19, 2018.[7] Audi makes videos showcasing and discussing its products.[8][9]
