Sam (born: June 8, 1999 (1999-06-08)), better known online as awesamdude, is an American Minecraft streamer who found success on the Dream SMP. He currently has no uploads on his main channel but has a vods channel with videos from his Twitch channel and has plans to upload on his main channel in the future. He streams almost every day on his Twitch channel and it has over 800k followers.

Code for the Kids

Code for the Kids is Awesamdude's idea for a program where kids are taught how to code through Minecraft. With the program, Awesamdude hopes to demonstrate how fun coding can be and share his experience of learning to code through Minecraft. He hoped to start the program by the end of 2020, and is currently raising money for it through donations on his stream.

On November 19, 2020, he reached the goal of $10,000 He is still accepting donations for the program.

MC Championship

MC Championship is a Minecraft Tournament for YouTubers and streamers run by the Noxcrew, in which 10 teams of four compete in a series of 8 minigames decided by the participants. A point multiplier makes each game worth more as each round passes, incentivizing teams to vote for games they might be bad at early on in the event. In the end, the two teams with the most points face off in a round of ‘Dodgebolt’ to decide the winner of the tournament. This makes it possible for a team to win despite potentially having fewer points than the runner-up.

• MC Championship 18: Team Fuchsia Frankensteins. Teamed with Dream, Quackity and GeorgeNotFound. Placed 35th individual and his team placed 5th overall.
• MC Championship 19: Team Cerulean Candy Canes. Teamed with vGumiho, fruitberries and Ryguyrocky. Placed 12th individual and his team placed 2nd overall.
• MC Championship 20: Team Blue Bats. Teamed with Quig, PrestonPlayz and TheOrionSound. Placed 24th individual and his team placed 4th overall.
• MC Championship 21: Team Purple Pandas. Teamed with Punz, Ponk, and Smajor1995. Placed 33rd individual and his team placed 5th overall.
• MC Championship 22: Team Red Rabbits. Teamed with Dream, GeorgeNotFound and CaptainPuffy. Placed 10th individual and his team placed 2nd overall.

  • On November 25, 2020, he tweeted out a screenshot of the page Vikkstar123, showing a blank space for Tommy's relation to Vikkstar. TommyInnit, Sam and Karl Jacobs replied, and the tweet was liked by Vikk.
