BENJIxScarlett is an American[1] YouTube channel owned by BENJIx and his younger sister Scarlett.[1] They usually post and broadcast fan-made parody songs of various themes and topics, often being fast-growing fandoms, shows, video games and films. They also post and broadcast vlogs, comedy, film, entertainment and meme videos. They also have a second channel named BENJIx, which despite joining much earlier, gained less traction than BENJIxScarlett seeing as it has less subscribers and is semi-active.

History[]

Benji began his YouTube career by creating and establishing the BENJIx channel on January 8, 2012. However his first music video wasn't posted until 2019, which was a collaboration song between him and NEFFEX.[2] After that he would make more music, film, animation and meme videos on, albeit by himself. However, ever since he created the BENJIxScarlett channel he would mostly abandon the BENJIx channel, ode to the greater amount of traction that channel got.

Benji then created another channel, BENJIxScarlett, on June 4, 2020,[1] and uploaded their first video on June 6, 2020.[3] They started posting Roblox videos together. However, when they began making music, they slowly turned away from Roblox, eventually completely shifting their music content to trending topics.

Benji also created his reaction and gaming channels,[4][5][6], that they would to react videos and video games, and they also post news on their community posts.

Merchandise[]

Their merchandise are mostly adult shirts, youth shirts, plushies, hats, hoodies and other type of merchandise.[7]

Controversies and Criticism[]

Feud with OGLofi[]

On December 13, 2024, OGLofi posted a video titled "BENJIxScarlett Wants to Delete my Channel" which reveals that he has received a false copyright strike from Benji on another video he posted.[8] This video immediately sparked attention from both YouTubers and casual accounts alike.

In response, KeidBoi has collaborated with OGLofi, as well as Dumpy, Engween and Ryth to make a parody song in his style, titled "Copyright Strike".[9] After the song was posted, Benji decided to remove the copyright strike from Lofi in response to the song.

Fake Incarceration[]

In early February 2025, Benji posted a video with title "I got Arrested..."[10] which is a clip of him pretending to be incarcerated (arrested). Many have speculated to believe that Benji did get incarcerated due to that video.

However, despite the comments on that video making jokes that suggest otherwise, Benji never actually got incarcerated, as that "arrest" video was merely a clip of a fake incarceration of him. That video was merely a herald for a diss track that targets Ryth, OGLofi and everyone else that was involved in KeidBoi's original diss track on him.
