BIG Games is an American YouTube channel and Roblox game development group known for their popular games, such as Pet Simulator, BIG Paintball, and My Restaurant!. The group is owned by Preston Parks, better known online as BuildIntoGame. The group is one of the largest groups on Roblox, and has over 25 million members in total.
History[]
Group[]
The group was created on March 14, 2018, and was publicly released two days later.[2] The first game that was announced is Pet Simulator, which happened on June 1, 2018.[3] The game was open to the public on August 4, 2018, which got around 50,000 concurrent players on the first day.[4]
On November 19, 2018, BIG Games made their first plushie, which only had 100 in stock and were limited, which sold out in the first few hours.[5][6]
On February 23, 2019, "Pet Simulator" won their first Bloxy award for "Mobile Game of the Year".[7]
On November 17, 2019, they released another popular game called BIG Paintball, and later Pet Simulator 2 on December 1, 2019.[8][9]
On June 26, 2020, they announced the release of "My Restaurant!" (previously called "My Bakery").[10][11]
On July 9, 2021, they released their third Pet Simulator game, called "Pet Simulator X".[12] The game got about 90,000 concurrent players in the first day.[13] On March 16, 2023, the game reached over 900,000 concurrent players, the highest the game has ever got.[14]
On November 19, 2023, BIG Games premiered the trailer for the new game, Pet Simulator 99.[15] The game is going to be released on December 1, 2023.[16]
YouTube channel[]
The channel was created on February 16, 2014, but didn't upload until January 11, 2017, which is a trailer for one of Preston's games, Giant Survival 2, made by Lazlex as the winner of a trailer contest. The channel went inactive until June 22, 2020, when they uploaded a game trailer for "My Restaurant!".
On June 30, 2022, they uploaded their first non-trailer related video.

This is the main group out of the 5. The group has over 8 million members, and has 4 games; "My Restaurant!", "BIG Paintball!", "Giant Survival", and "Build and Survive!".
BIG Games Pets[]
This is their most popular group, having over 17 million group members and the 2nd largest group on Roblox. There are 3 games, all about the Pet Simulator franchise.
BIG Games Super Fun[]
This group has about one million members, however, only has two games; "Farm for Fun!" and "Auto mine".
BIG Games Experimental[]
This group has about one million members, and is used for experimenting ideas. The group has 4 games; "THROW PEOPLE OFF A HILL", "Ragdoll Playgrund!", "THE ART WALL", and "Kill the Clones!".
BIG Games Staff[]
This group has 42 members, consisting of current staff members of BIG Games. The group does not have any games.
Controversies[]
Pet Simulator X NFTs[]
On November 9, 2021, BIG Games made a tweet announcing that Pet Simulator X NFTs are released, stating that 12 huge Pegasus pets are only available until a week later.[17] However, people critized about the annoucement. Some users thought it broke Roblox's Terms of Service, mentioning that selling Roblox assests for real money off-platform. Preston, the main owner of the group, replied that the rule refers to black marketing and needs proper context.[18] After the situation, the game was not taken down.
Trivia[]
- Three of their games, Pet Simulator X, Pet Simulator, and My Restaurant, all have over a billion visits.
- This makes them the first development group to have 3 games with over a billion visits.
- Pet Simulator was originally started during a brainstorming session with Preston and Coylist.[19]
