History[]
The Early 2010s (2012-2013)[]
According to BM30 in his Super Mario World video, he began watching YouTube videos at the start of 2012, where he watched Let's Play channels such as WiiRikeToPray, now called WiiLikeToPlay, MoltovMarioWorld along with BFDI and various Mario plush videos. These let's play channels inspired him to make his own let's play videos of games such as New Super Mario Bros Wii and Super Mario World, he unfortunately never recorded those though, as he thought his iPad 2's video camera was too "shitty" to use. Later on December 21st 2013, he created his first known YouTube channel, called "Mario Tube" with the name inspired by EvanTubeHD.
The Mid 2010s (2014-2016)[]
On August 21st 2014, BM30 created his first known YouTube video titled "My new channel" where in the video he states that new and better videos will be coming soon when he manages to get a video camera. Throughout 2014, he posted miscellaneous videos such as Angry Birds plush collection updates, TV recordings, "Annoying Orange Animated" etc. The majority of these videos were deleted in 2015 and were reuploaded the same year. One video on the channel titled "The fastest dumb ways to to die video in the world" became really popular on YouTube massing 70,000 views as of 2022.
Near the end of May 2015, BM30 started using the channel he currently uses today, starting off with Annoying Orange TV/iPad recordings and later did short videos of him playing Mobile Games on his iPad while recording with another iPad along with other miscellaneous videos. In 2016, the channel became more inactive as he started uploading his Animations on the website named, Scratch.
The Late 2010s (2017-2019)[]
2017[]
BM30 came back to his main channel in May 2017, where he proceeded to reupload episodes of his Object Show "Challenge To Win2" along with posting Sonic related videos edited in Filmora. After that he started creating Object Show related animations, with his BFDI Weekly Intro Audition, posted on June 7th 2017, gaining a lot of traction, currently having 95,000 views. More notable popular uploads from this time period include: "Behind The Scenes Of BFB", Reuploads of the two object shows, "Object Land" and "Unusual Battle" and BFB Intro Remixes.
2018[]
On December 8th 2017, BM30 posted a video titled "BFBI" This video featured a scene from the "Battle For BFDI" Scene but all the characters were gender-swapped. Although the idea was unbelievably simple, this got a lot of views and on February 7th 2018, BM30 posted the full episode into four parts which combined, got 460,000 views. For most of 2018, BM30 continued to create Object Show related content and remixes/edits, usually relating to BFDI, TROY (An object show camp he created in July 2018) and or object shows he worked on with his friends, while on the side making videos on his second channel and storytime channel where he told stories about things in his personal life. Near the end of 2018, he started making more original content as he started doing more Object Show Challenge entries, entries for Multi Animator Projects, less remixes and short animations such as him thanking his fans for 2000 Subscribers, as at the start of 2018, he had 400 subscribers and by the end of 2018, he had over 2000.
2019[]
In early 2019, BM30's computer broke meaning he wouldn't be able to make content with the programs he commonly used such as Flash 8, Audacity, etc. So instead, he decided to create animations with the Mobile App: FlipAClip, for the time being until he got a new computer. In terms of content, it was more of the same from last year, with more original animations, Object Show Challenge entries, animation showcases, Multi Animator Project submissions and old Object Show scenes reanimated.
The Early 2020s (2020-Present)[]
2020[]
In late 2019, there was controversy of YouTube and COPPA's new YouTube guidelines. This caused BM30 to private all of his videos in fear of the channel not getting terminated. After people learned that COPPA wasn't as bad as everyone thought it was, BM30 made most of his videos public again, with some staying private after January 2020. He then uploaded an animation titled "2020" to show that he returned. After that, videos persisted until July 23rd 2020 where he would unknowingly post his last Object Show video and become inactive after a one off Among Us video (which is now unlisted). While he became inactive on his main channel, he began uploading more on his other channel named "JRS" where he posted reviews on video game merchandise.
2022[]
The BM30 channel stayed static and dead all throughout 2021 and felt like it was going to be the same for 2022, until March 26th 2022 where posted the video titled: "Nostalgic Mobile Games" out of the blue and along with that, completely rebranded his channel. Currently, BM30 now creates commentary/video essay-based content on technology and video games. The most popular video he has created in this format has been his Minecraft video where he talks about his experience with Minecraft Legacy Console Edition.
