Bogdan Ilić (Serbian: Богдан Илић; born: September 16, 1996), better known online as Baka Prase (English: Grandma Pig), is a Serbian musician and YouTuber.
Biography[]
Personal Life[]
Bogdan was born on September 16, 1996 to two Serbian parents. His father is a Serbian Orthodox-Christian, who was also a church worker. Bogdan graduated from Musical High School in Belgrade, after which he stopped his education and started creating YouTube videos. He had a goat as a pet which he loved a lot. After her death he decided to have no more pets.
Around late 2021, Bogdan had moved to Amsterdam, Netherlands, but would return to Serbia after spending a few months there.
History[]
First Steps[]
Baka created his YouTube channel on December 22, 2011. He didn't post any videos and the channel was named with his name, until 2016 when he started creating League of Legends game-play videos. He streamed the game a lot as well. His first viral video was also created in 2016, with the song BIli Baku?. He also used to play Yasuo, mainly in his League of Legends videos.
2017 Growth[]
In 2017, Baka didn't grow a lot, but he started creating videos with his friend Choda. It's believed that the two were friends since they were little. As the two kept making videos together, Choda ended up making his own channel. Most of their videos consisted of them reacting to various YouTube videos and giving their opinions on them.
In 2017, Baka also started making reaction videos to music videos, which he still does to this day. He also started making music videos.
2018 Domination[]
2018 was the year in which Baka dominated the Balkan YouTube scene. Baka made a lot of music videos this year, and created more videos with Choda. He also made a lot of videos featuring his parents, asking them questions from fans. Baka also made a lot of vlogs.
Also in 2019, KSI visited the Croatian YouTube Fest, so did Baka Prase and the two met up and became good friends. Today KSI and Baka Prase follow each other on Instagram. Baka said that KSI is his biggest inspiration and that he looked up to KSI since the start of his YouTube channel.
Getting Surpassed[]
On December 18, 2020, Baka was surpassed by Omco as the most-subscribed Balkan YouTuber.
Return[]
On September 30, 2022, Bogdan would return on a channel called Baka Prase 2, he would make a video on the same day titled ŽELJKO MITROVIĆ MI JE UGASIO KANAL *ovo je kraj*, in which he talked about how he had lost his original channel as a result of calling out Serbian magnate Željko Mitrović.
In the video, he stated that he was trying to get the original channel back as hard as he could, but said that he didn't have much hope. He also said that he didn't make the new channel and return right away due to him finding it too emotional and hard because of all the memories he had with his original YouTube channel.
From then on, Bogdan would start making more exposé videos on Mitrović.
On November 4, 2022, Bogdan's main channel would be reinstated.
Terminations[]
Baka Prase TV[]
On September 14, 2022, Bogdan's Baka Prase TV channel would get terminated due to violating YouTube's policy on nudity and sexual content.
Baka Prase[]
On September 27, 2022, Baka's main channel was terminated due to multiple third-party claims of copyright infringement. After the termination, Baka had said that he had gotten the strikes on videos where he was a guest on the television station Pink 4-5 years prior.[1]
The channel would be reinstated on November 4, 2022.
Baka Sepra[]
On December 30, 2022, Bogdan's second channel, Baka Sepra, was terminated for violating YouTube's Community Guidelines.
Controversy[]
Instagram Shut Down[]
On October 26, 2022, Bogdan's Instagram profile would get banned again. He would later make a statement on his merchandise Instagram saying that he was working on getting the account back and that he would come back stronger.[2]
Amir Hadžič[]
The first drama that Baka Prase had was with Amir Hadžič. The drama was started when Amir Hadžič called out Baka for making fun of a 12 year old girl.[3]
K1KA[]
On December 9, 2021, it was reported that K1KA had died of suicide with cyberbullying being cited as one of the reasons. Baka was accused of being one of the reasons, due to the drama the two previously had. Many had afterwards criticized Baka for attacking her and accused him of being one of the reasons that she took her life. It was later reported that Baka was arrested and taken to the High-Tech Crime Unit for a hearing, where it was reported later that they were gathering evidence.[4]
Željko Mitrović[]
During the premiere, Bogdan was streaming on his social media, in which he reacted to the movie. He had accused one of the lawyers who was in the documentary of not being a real lawyer and confessed that he was angry in a video where he insulted 2 minors. It was also shown in the documentary that Bogdan was commiting fraud and not reporting his actual earnings.[5]
After the documentary aired, Bogdan was contacted by the prosecution.[6]
Bogdan would later in response show that Mitrović supposedly had connections to crime boss Veljko Belivuk, also known by his nickname Velja Nevolja.[7] Bogdan also alleged that Mitrović owed Veljko money.[8]
Bogdan would later call out Željko for allegedly murdering his ex-wife and paying someone 300,000 Euros to take the blame.[9] And would also call him out for making out with Red TV host Andrijana Cvetincanin while being married to his current wife.[10]
Eventually, Željko would start 2 petitions against Bodgan[11], one asking to shut down Bogdan's YouTube channels and the other asking for Bodgan's arrest. In response, Bogdan would start a petition to cancel the infamous Serbian reality show Zadruga, saying that it violated nearly all television regulations and that it was only allowed to air due to supposed funding from Serbian Mafia groups, and would invite Željko to a live debate.[12]
The next day, it was reported that Bogdan had left Serbia again.[13]
On September 21, 2022, Bogdan was once again arrsted and taken to the High-Tech crime unit for a hearing that lasted an hour and a half, he had given his phone to a friend before the hearing who put out a statement on Bodgan's Instagram account[14]. The hearing would last an hour and a half, after which Bogdan would post make an Instagram post saying that he was innocent[15].
Channel termination[]
On February 19, 2025, all of Bogdan's channels were terminated from YouTube. He announced this on his Instagram page claiming that he will update his viewers if he finds out who deleted his channels. The Instagram page andre.bez.cenzure explained the reason behind this, as well as explaining an attack on singer Seka Aleksić.
Seka explained that she would never forbid her son from watching Bogdan's content, but would explain to him why such behavior is wrong as a responsible parent, after which Bogdan took the opportunity to call out Seka for wearing a dress with a print of a naked woman on a performance - unfoundedly claiming that Seka performed naked and tried to get her minor son into sexual connotations.
