Barely Sociable (birthday: April 9) is a San Diego-based mystery YouTuber.
His videos mostly focus on mysteries from Reddit, though he is also known to delve into more broad, internet-related topics. He is best known for his documentary-style video on the history of the Silk Road, and his series on Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of BitCoin.
Barely Sociable also has a channel for his musical endeavors, Barely Musical. This channel is very different from his main channel (being entirely music-focused), and has a much smaller viewerbase. However, this channel uploads much more often, with multiple uploads a week, compared to once every month or two.

His first video, and several of his next videos, were centered on the website Reddit's mysteries.[1] His first ever video was about the mystery of the "Lake City Quiet Pills".
He would also talk about other creepy sites,[2] but would go back to Reddit's mysteries every now and then. Some of his videos are centered around Reddit in general and have nothing to do with mysteries but were disturbing, like r/LetsNotMeet posts.[3]
He would also collaborate with other YouTubers, his first being with ReignBot about the history of a South African hospital[4] and his next with Nexpo about the true identity of the creator of the Bitcoin.[5] As of October 2019 he decided to stop making Reddit content and focused on content regarding mysteries, disappearances, and lost media.[6][7]
