Brandon Armstrong, better known online as BdotAdot5, (born June 17)[2] is an American YouTuber who impersonates basketball players, and uploads videos of basketball games.
Personal life[]
Brandon grew up in Decatur, Georgia.[3]
He attended Lincoln Memorial University.[4]
Brandon used to live in Phoenix, Arizona.[1] He has a son and a daughter. As of June 2022, his wife is pregnant.[5]
Basketball[]
Brandon has played professional basketball internationally, in Spain and Australia.[1]
He went to Australia, because, according to an ESPN interview, numerous American and European teams overlooked him. He later played for the University of Melbourne.[4]
In 2015, Brandon participated in a celebrity basketball game held by Ludacris. It was for charity, and held in the Georgia State University arena.[6]
YouTube[]
In 2015, Brandon planned to visit the NBA's Summer League in Las Vegas, and a camp for potential European league players, but missed his flight. The next day, he uploaded an impression of Russell Westbrook to YouTube, and subsequently stopped playing professional basketball for three years.[4]
Brandon was part of the American YouTube Black Voices Creator Class of 2021.[1]
