Gabe Cataldi, better known online as BeastChild (also spelled without vowels as bstchld), is an Italian-Brazilian-American YouTuber and TikToker based in New Zealand.

Cataldi's content mainly consists of short comedic videos. He also formerly made music.
History[]
Cataldi created his YouTube channel on April 7, 2008. Originally a YouTube musician, he uploaded his first video on June 26, 2009.[1] He would continue to post music-related content until 2014.
He began posting on TikTok in May 2020 and would soon begin to amass a following there for his comedic videos and his "Articulating Rap Songs" series. He returned to YouTube in 2022, uploading his first Shorts video on April 7 of that year.[2]
He posted on Shorts throughout the month of April before starting another hiatus, eventually returning in May 2023. BeastChild's new comedic content would begin to gain major traction starting in July, due to his various comedic short series such as "Crazy Haircuts", "Bad Kid vs Nice Teacher" and "Cartel TikTok". His channel's growth skyrocketed, reaching 1 million subscribers in early August.

Over his career as a YouTuber, Cataldi has been known for several different shorts series, which are all listed below.
Articulating Rap - His first major series. Cataldi will read out lyrics to rap and RnB music in an upbeat, conversational tone, with no backing music.
Bad Kid vs Nice Teacher - Cataldi often plays the role of a rebellious, potty-mouthed and troubled student, bragging about his sexual escapades and drug related felonies.
Cartel TikTok - In this series, Cataldi commentates over videos involving either extreme sports or videos with white powder being used, the latter being referred to usually as premium quality Colombian cocaine, and the former being used to imply that cocaine is being transported by the sportsperson.
Tonight on SMNN - As the title would imply, this series is about semen. Cataldi will commentate over any video with a liquid that is thick, white or both, implying it's semen.
Personal life[]
Cataldi was born and raised in California to parents from Brazil.[3] He currently resides in Wellington, New Zealand.[4][5]
