Beau (pronounced bow; born: December 23, 2004 (2004-12-23)),^{[citation needed]} better known online as Beautie_ (pronounced bowtie), is a Scottish YouTuber, Twitch streamer, and TikToker known for her Minecraft streams and collaborations.^{[citation needed]} She is a member of the (now-defunct) BearSMP and a current member of the Origins SMP. ^{[citation needed]}

Personal life

Beau was born on December 23, 2004, in Scotland. She came out as Pansexual on her TikTok account and used she/her pronouns along with being fine with they/them pronouns.

History

In December 2020, she started streaming and used the TikTok platform to gain popularity on Twitch.^{[citation needed]}

She first gained popularity online in August 2021 after asking TommyInnit out on a platonic date in a TikTok, leading to the pair making a video together for his channel.^{[citation needed]}

She got the YouTube rank at Hypixel on September 1, 2021.

SMPs

BearSMP

2 days after getting YouTube rank on Hypixel, she joined the BearSMP, where she collaborated with other streamers such as aimsey, billzo, Snifferish and Tubbo. She became verified on Twitter on September 7, 2021, hit 1 million followers on TikTok on September 18, 2021 and became a Twitch Partner on September 23, 2021. The SMP ended on December 24, 2021, a few months after the initial announcement that it would be discontinued.^{[citation needed]}

Origins SMP

Origins SMP is a server with the Origins mod, which allows players to select an "origin" that gives them powers and weaknesses based on a Minecraft mob. The server recently started up again for Season 2, and they are playing on a 1.18 experimental snapshot with the new Caves and Cliffs world generation. ^{[citation needed]}

Beautie joined the Origins SMP on October 16, 2021 after BearSMP discontinued, and has frequently played on Origins ever since. Beautie has chosen the Avian origin alongside TommyInnit, allowing her to fall gently to the ground as a feather would unless she sneaks. She is also a bit quicker on foot than others, has to sleep in higher altitudes and is only able to eat vegetables.

Controversy

Poorly-timed Tweet

On October 26, 2021, Beautie posted a tweet with a video of her applying for the Dream SMP as she had heard about openings for new members, but was unaware of other things going on at the time regarding other members. After receiving backlash, she deleted the original tweet and tweeted out an apology.
