Rebbeca Marie "Becky" Gomez (born: March 2, 1997 (1997-03-02) [age 27]), better know by her stage name Becky G, is an American singer/song-writer and actress.

History[]

She first Started getting recognition in 2011, when she joined YouTube and started to post videos of herself covering popular songs. One of her videos got the attention of Dr. Luke, who would then go on to offer her a joint record deal with Kemosabe Records and RCA Records.

Her official Debut single, Becky From The Block, (posted onto YouTube in 2013) would then go on to release good reviews upon it's release. Later that year, she would go on to release her first extended play: Play it again.

In 2014, Becky would then release Shower, a single which would go on to enter the top 20 on the billboard top 100. It would then go on to receive a multi platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), denoting two million units sold in the country. following the success of show, she would then go on to release Can't Stop Dancing, Lovin' So Hard, and then in 2015, Break A Sweat.

They would then lead her to go on tour with J Balvin from September to October 2015 across the US. She also contributed two new songs to the soundtrack of Empire, called "Do It" and "New New". Becky was also featured on the song "Superstar" (2016) with Pitbull. She would soon release her first Spanish song "Sola". In 2017, she released Mayores.
