Bill Wurtz (born: August 9, 1987 (1987-08-09) [age 32]) is an American YouTube musician and animator residing somewhere in upstate New York, USA. Bill is well known for the way that he presents his videos, with surrealist and retro visual effects, satirical music and dry humor, which has been highly acclaimed by his viewers.

Bill started his music career on his own website and not on YouTube. While he does post a lot of his songs on YouTube, all of his songs are posted his songs on his own personal website. He posted his first song on the website on the 3rd of March, 2005 called "stuck in a rut". The song was posted around the same time that YouTube was a dating site (when it was first starting out), but he wouldn't post another song on the website until 2009, his new song being called, "the song song" which goes for 3 minutes.

Bill created his YouTube Channel on February 17th, 2012 and posted his first video on September 9th, 2013. The video is simply called "die" which is only a ten second video. In it, he just says "die" with video and music effects over the word.

The actual song was posted on his website on March 9th, 2010. From 2013 to Early 2016 he uploaded over 350 videos on his channel.

His most popular video being “history of the entire world, I guess” A successor to his second most popular video, “history of japan”.

  • On his website, when a 404 page appears, it will say "oh no wear is my pink tutu" (example).
  • His "I don't wanna go to school song" was made because one time outside of his home, Bill was having a conversation with a woman who was going to college, and when he said he didn't, she tried to convince Bill that going to school was the best use of his time and that he should return. That's why he ends the song with "That girl made me feel blue cuz she told me I should stay in school".
  • When you ask a question on his website it will say: "Thabk you".
